BECOME A MEMBER

Västgöta nation is run by students, for students! In the early days it was required for members to have some sort of connection to Västergötland, but these days all students at Uppsala university and SLU Ultuna are welcome!

Approximately half of our members come from Västergötland, and the other half come from other regions. Regardless if you are a Västgöte, from outside the region, or an international student – Västgöta nation will be your home away from home!

How to I registrer as a member?

To become a member of Västgöta nation is easy. Just before, or at the start of the semester, the nation will have specific opening hours for registration. You just bring a registration certificate and ID to the nation. Here, one of our reccehosts or international secretaries will help registrer you as a member. If you would like to sign up later during the term, you may visit the First Curator during office hours. When you sign up, make sure to sign up for the recce reception which is a great first welcome to the nation life! The day is spent learning about the day-to-day life at Västgöta nation and finishes with a fun dinner!
